As we continue to partner with health organizations, helping them increase efficiency and decrease risk in transitions of care, our North American team is expanding! We are pleased to welcome an extremely reputable neuropsychologist to our team: Dr. Sylvain Roy, Director of Strategic Initiatives at Strata Health Solutions.

Dr. Sylvain Roy is a neuropsychologist at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) and Inner-City Family Health Team in Toronto. He is an adjunct professor at York University, and the past-president of the Ontario Psychology Association (OPA). He completed his Ph.D. in clinical neuropsychology at the Université de Montréal and also holds degrees from York and McGill University. Dr. Roy works primarily with persons with disabling mental health conditions and currently co-leads two Ontario government-funded projects looking at elucidating the prevalence of brain injury, dementia and developmental disabilities among shelter users and highlighting challenges associated with connecting homelessness person to appropriate supports, housing and health services.

Sylvain has spent his career focused on some of the most intractable individual cases in the system, and we’re confident that those same skills will be invaluable as he takes on more macro challenges.”

A distinguished neuropsychologist who’s seen the adverse effects caused by gaps in communication and care, Dr. Roy is passionately aligned with Strata Health’s vision of solving patient transition challenges.
